Inviting Jesus Christ into your heart is not biblical
Majority of Church Age Believers are traditionalists because of the following reasons:
- They do not take time to examine their church teaching.
- They follow their leaders without questioning.
- They go through ritualistic routine without evaluating their Scriptural basis.
- They follow their church practices without even understanding their meaning.
- They never question the teaching of their pastors or leaders.
- They continue to practice things without even understanding their origin or meaning.
- They keep protecting their distorted teachings
One of the popular but distorted teachings is based on Revelation 3:30, where they got the false teaching of accepting or inviting Jesus into their hearts. Revelation 3:20 is not about salvation but rebound which is to maintain fellowship with God. To say that Jesus Christ at the door of the heart is to superimpose a lie with the Scripture did not support. A Biblical doctrine is form and supported by all other doctrines.
There are fifteen (15) reasons to prove that accepting or inviting Jesus Christ into your heart is not biblical:
- The teaching of accepting or inviting Jesus Christ into your heart is not biblical. There is no single verse in the Bible to support it and the very verse they claimed to support it is out of context.
- There is no command or instruction in the Bible for us to accept or invite Jesus Christ into our hearts.
- Inviting or accepting Jesus Christ into your hearts is another nonsense phraseology invented by the cults to deceive the people.
- Inviting or accepting Jesus Christ is designed to sidetrack the grace plan of salvation.
- To invite or accept Jesus into your hearts is to put human good work above the grace of God.
- The teaching of inviting or accepting Jesus Christ into your hearts will give the unsaved a false sense of security.
- Inviting or accepting Jesus Christ into your hearts cannot save.
- The grace plan of salvation is to simply believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 16:31).
- The teaching of inviting or accepting Jesus Christ into your heart leaves out the power of God to save.
- Inviting or accepting Jesus Christ into your hearts is not the way of salvation but satanic scheme to deceive the people.
- Inviting or accepting Jesus Christ into your hearts is an emotional evangelism through formulated prayer that cannot save.
- Inviting or accepting Jesus Christ into your hearts produce false converts which glorifies Satan through their human good.
- The teaching of inviting or accepting Jesus Christ into your hearts presents the Lord Jesus Christ as a beggar despising His justice and sovereignty.
- Inviting or accepting Jesus Christ into your hearts hinders and ridicules the cause and purpose of evangelism by producing church members who will end up in hell.
- Inviting or accepting Jesus Christ into your heart is not part of God’s plan, purpose or system.
